1. Scan your NFC tag or QR code using your smartphone
2. Enter the 6-digit setup code that came with your product
3. You'll be prompted to create an account or log in if you already have one
4. Once logged in, your device will be automatically activated and ready to use

Note: Each setup code can only be used once for security purposes.

Taply products work with a wide range of devices:

• NFC Tags: Compatible with all NFC-enabled smartphones (iPhone 7 and later, most Android devices)
• QR Codes: Can be scanned by any smartphone with a camera and QR code reader app
• Web Browsers: All modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)

No special apps are required - just use your phone's built-in NFC or camera functionality.

Your Taply tag can be configured to open a variety of content types:

• Website: Any web page or URL you want to share
• Google Review Page: Direct link to your business's Google Reviews
• Social Media Profiles: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more
• Custom URLs: Any link you want to share - menus, portfolios, contact pages, etc.

You can change what your tag opens at any time without reprogramming the physical tag.

Changing your tag's destination is simple and instant:

1. Log in to your Taply account
2. Navigate to "My Products" from the sidebar
3. Select the device you want to update
4. Click "Configure" or "Presence Management"
5. Enter your new URL or select a new content type
6. Save your changes

Important: Changes take effect immediately - no need to reprogram your physical tag. The tag itself doesn't store the URL, so you can update it anytime from your dashboard.

No, each setup code can only be used once. This is a security feature designed to protect your devices.

If you need to activate a new device, you'll receive a unique setup code with that product.

Both QR codes and NFC tags serve the same purpose but work differently:

Both methods open the same content you've configured. Analytics show you which method is being used.

Yes, you can deactivate a device at any time:

1. Go to "My Products" from your dashboard
2. Select the device you want to deactivate
3. Click on the device to view its detail page
4. Use the deactivate option in the device settings

Note: Deactivated devices will no longer redirect when scanned. You can reactivate them at any time from the same page.

Yes! You can rename your devices to help organize them:

1. Go to "My Products" and select the device
2. Click on the device name or edit icon
3. Enter a new name (e.g., "Front Desk", "Business Card", "Menu")
4. Save your changes

Giving your devices descriptive names makes it easier to manage multiple products and track analytics.

Accessing your analytics is simple:

1. Log in to your Taply account
2. Click "Analytics" in the sidebar navigation
3. View your dashboard with comprehensive metrics

Your analytics dashboard shows:

• Total scan counts across all devices
• Breakdown by scan type (QR vs NFC)
• Time-series data for the last 30 days
• Individual device performance
• Trends and patterns in usage

We track the following analytics data:

• Scan Count: Total number of scans per device
• Scan Type: Whether it was a QR code or NFC tap
• Timestamp: When each scan occurred
• Device Information: Which device was scanned

Privacy Note: We do not track personal information about the person scanning. We only track that a scan occurred, not who performed it.
